Montross, VA -- The Town of Montross, Virginia (Westmoreland County) adopted a resolution of support on December 20, 2022. The resolution follows suit to the resolutions adopted by King George County and Westmoreland County. Montross is the home of the former Northern Neck Bottling Company where Carver's Ginger Ale began and turned into the cultural icon we love today... Northern Neck Ginger Ale.
The resolution was adopted the same day Congressman Wittman wrote a letter to Mr. James Quincey, Chief Executive Officer of Coca-Cola. Wittman, who resides in Montross, consistently advocated for Northern Neck Bottling Co. throughout the years.
